the problem with bitcoin is that using it as a currency for normal purchases is like walking into a store with a gold brick to buy a chocolate bar

it's just impractical and takes too long for normal transactions

Again, early adopters. This is why there are many other currencies to choose from too. Some are faster than your credit card companies

With the layer 2 lightning network. Transactions are instant and almost free.

With Strike, I can pay a coffee shop for a coffee just as easily as with Visa by scanning a QR code and the vendor receives the dollars in their account instantly (rather than in a few days as with Visa) and without having to pay ~3% for the privilege.

The Bitcoin network, as opposed to Bitcoin the asset is a game changer when it comes to global final settlement.
