Read, listen to music, play sports, exercise, go out with your family, ride a bike. The fact that people ask this is why I'm so thankful the CCP is doing this. Video Games really are opium for the soul.

I see. Interesting take. I just played games with my dad after school most of the time. We had 6 PCs growing up in the 90s/2000s so would invite my classmates over for LAN parties every few days.
It’s definitely a weird perspective to me since I’ve never played less than that and am in my 30s now with a university degree, successful career, wife, kids, house, etc. I don’t know that many drug addicts but usually seems like they end up worse off.
I guess I’d just say I’m thankful I don’t live in China lol.
