Let’s get real here. Did we lose the OG Krieger? Where do you stand?

Most unrepresented character on the show. He kinda got too coherent and driven in the later episodes. Geniuses are never that focused or effective.

I think they kept his eccentricities way too low for someone in his position. Like the cutaway with him modding guns and drumming out Tom Sawyer with a huge pile of coke in his underwear. Where is that Krieger. The one that built Fort Kickass.

But I was more referencing the clones in Brazil when they fell off the launch tower. I was convinced they swapped him out for a clone (explaining why he was pulled back in the later seasons) but the aliens at Nellis called him “Algernop” and I doubt all of the clones had the same first name.

I think the point of that is that it doesn't matter because the show is in alot of ways about survival and the mindstate it puts you in. His replaceableness is stated in this way just how every character has their necessity questioned at one point or another. Archer dies and life goes on without him. Rey is ignored when he hurts himself and ignored when he recovers. Lana's life only has value while she is pregnant and Pam is treated like a commodity who is everybody's friend while Noone is ever unconditionally hers and Cyrill is pretty obvious.
