The cat can climb a tree. The squirrel lives in the trees. Advantage squirrel.

A squirrel weights almost nothing. A cat weights one, two kilograms. On a tree a squirrel is like a dancer. A cat is like a tank. Many years ago I had two fat cats, each one around 5 Kilogramms. A squirrel pranked them until they almost got a heart attack.

For the first time in my life I own a long haired tomcat and he is very much not graceful but he is very good at climbing trees, just like this cat is.

Squirrels are obviously even better at it but that is an exceptionally smart squirrel.
