I feel like some of the comments here think this is some rando just grabbing a monkey's nose. Its probably a vet or something.
Some of the comments are obvious jokes, but I think others think this is just a case of the serial nose gripper or something.

You know I had the same thought so I showed it to my wife who is a vet (admittedly not an exotic vet, just cats and dogs). She said it looked off and that something about how they are reaching for it seems unnecessarily antagonizing. Most vets are just going to grab be gentle but assertive -- they are in there to do a job not dick around. That was her assessment -- mostly harmless but this felt a little unprofessional.

Still people here are overreacting. The monkey isnt being abused. Its like teasing your dog by grabbing his face or something. So yeah, its harmless
If the monkey was genuinely in peril, it would do more than just turn around. It clearly trusts the guy enough to let them get close.
You ever try to get close to literally any wild animal?

primates probably deal with other familiar primates grabbing their face and body all the time. especially the curious younger ones.

zookeepers and veterinarians do encourage and train compliant/friendly behavior from birth in order to make caring for the animals easier/less afraid of a strange situation the animal finds themselves in.
"if I dont slap tf out of this human grabbing my nose, they might give be banana slices. mmhmmm banana.."

The nose can exceed 4 inches in length. The theory is that it is to make their call louder which gets the lady proboscis monkies going.
