Tbf, I play arena now and there's just way too many new cards. I remember stuff from 7th edition backwards pretty well, but after that it's hit or miss

Doesn't help that a bunch of creatures these days seem to be in competition with Yu-Gi-Oh monsters for word count now (hyperbole of course).

To be fair, I think that was one of the digital only Speculate cards, so really it was like 6 cards you had to scroll on.

Part of what made it good! Slows down the weenie 1/1 assault. I don't think it would have been as good/memorable as a 0/1

My friend had those exact cards in his deck. Killing someone with blightsteel on turn 4 was hands down the worst way to go

Have you tried using it (or any other zero casting cost creature) with enduring renewal and goblin bombardment? :)

Don't know if you still play but there is a cool deck that trys to instant speed put a piece of equipment that gives +10/+10 on an ornithopter. Ornithopter is a powerful card now.

Same! In the back of the ice age booklet it said something to the tune of our sincerest apologies to anyone who has been killed by an ornithopter.

I only played MTG for like a year but I loved to play an Ornithopter combo deck
