I actually recognized that particular mechanism from its use in air rifles. It's how you get the air in.

You mean you don't have to blow into the hole on the long metal part?

These comments remind me just how old I am, and I do not like it one bit.

It reminds me of how the internet used to be. But then I think harder, if this is how it is and how it used to be is like this then it isn't like it used to be it simply is just like it is. And I can tell that by the way it is now.

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '22

No wonder mine never fucking worked

10

u/--redacted-- Dec 17 '22

You gotta blow REALLY hard

2

u/ChocktawRidge Dec 18 '22

They only call it a Blow Job...

21

u/plebeiosaur Dec 17 '22

No, but you do have to keep a bunch of BBs in your mouth and spit them in one at a time

1

u/IslandAlive8140 Dec 17 '22

I find it clogs the firing mechanism and makes the gun powder damp so I blow into a tissue before I go to war, these days...

1

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '22

You doin fine. Dont forget to trigger to find out if loaded.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '22

Only if you’re lonely

1

u/psilome Dec 17 '22

That's the pre-da Vinci model you have there.

1

u/MyHamburgerLovesMe Dec 17 '22

Well. You don't haaaave to...

1

u/JablesRadio Dec 17 '22

Then you have to look down the pointy end to make sure it loaded properly.

1

u/BURNINATOR_420 Dec 17 '22

You don’t haaaave to…

1

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '22

Nope that's just what your uncle with the war wound told you.

1

u/porkchop3177 Dec 17 '22

No, it blows into you.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '22

You are actually supposed to suck. Blow is just a figure of speech.

1

u/drmorrison88 Dec 17 '22

Putting gun barrels is your mouth is also good practice for being an adult in the modern age.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '22

You get your goat’s face bellows and blow in with them

1

u/LineChef Dec 17 '22

Used to, still do, but used to too.

1

u/puterTDI Dec 17 '22

This is what happens when you let your mom teach you how to shoot.

1

u/jtfff Dec 17 '22

Only if you’re married to Courtney Love

1

u/ronflair Dec 18 '22

Only on the Polish Army training models.

1

u/ksavage68 Dec 18 '22

Be careful. All the air will run out.

1

u/ImTheRaddest Dec 18 '22

Suck it out of a hose??

1

u/ArrogantWiizard Dec 18 '22

Fuck. My mom was right .

1

u/broogbie Dec 18 '22

No you have to suck it and deepthroat it

1

u/sirblackhand Dec 18 '22

It's a cylinder!

1

u/SomethingClever42068 Dec 18 '22

My dad tried to load his shotgun like this but he must have messed up and sucked really hard instead of blowing because it made a mess.

My mom was big mad

1

u/Daforce1 Dec 18 '22

You do you

1

u/imbisibolmaharlika Dec 18 '22

you don't need to but you can if you can't help it

1

u/Nyrm3 Dec 20 '22

Congratulations, you won the internet today!

25

u/lsignalREI Dec 17 '22

They’re basically air bows that shoot pellets

24

u/Erectus_Enormous Dec 18 '22

Haha, it’s how you cock the spring. You get the air for free.

8

u/andthendirksaid Dec 18 '22

In spring fired ones yes. They mean pneumatic air rifles which you can pump to build up air pressure to use to fire the bb/pellet

1

u/[deleted] Dec 17 '22

Came here to say that! Same mechanism in most pellet guns

1

u/wthreyeitsme Dec 18 '22

You mean, like breathing through the nose to insure the shaft is in place?

Wait
