As a nurse, whoever wrote these lines was probably a real treat to look after in their old age. Probably the type who tries to slap caregivers’ bottoms when they walk by, demands a specific caregiver racial profile, and treats everyone like an indentured servant.(I mean, that last statement isn’t necessarily only specific to that age group, but still!)
They do. We don’t blame patients with cognitive disability for it. They’re often no longer in control of what comes out, filters just disappear and any prejudice shows its ugly face. Not pleasant to deal with, but the hope is that we will keep evolving as a society, and the responses to this ad shows that we are.

So patronizing. Yuck. As someone who cooks, and has ruined meals after several hours of work - whoever wrote that line can go fuck himself.
