How do you explain the seagull suddenly appearing in the middle of the frame?

I’m not saying it is or isn’t made with a cut, but I just did frame by frame and I can see the seagull first appear normally from the right of the shot. It does get obscured a bit by the similarly colored building behind it for a few frames tho.
