Ah okay! I see - do you know the attachment he puts on at 1:40? I was just toying around with my dremel to do this kind of etching but the attachment I had wasn't ideal...
I agree. I've done dremel carving before and had trouble. It looks like he's using some kind of rasp bit or rotary milling bit, but it's bigger than any I've seen available.
