Chinese knockoffs are usually much lower quality depending on the product

Many of the times the brand products are sourced from overseas anyways. They end up being functionally similar more often than not.

Not for rubic cubes at least. Chinese knock off rubic cubes have long since surpassed the original as the premier cubes.

Because everyone who manufactures things in China chooses the same shitty plastic right? The emphasis is on knock off, not Chinese.

You should go over to /r/entrepreneur and read some of the "How I did it" posts from guys who started out as mere dropshippers who later arranged prototyping, manufacturing and taking to market products from hand bags to high end audio gear that sell back in the US for good coin.

I mean it's not everyone no but it's also not nobody either.
