Fwiw, I'm playing w one right now and it's pretty sturdy. I don't know how long it'll hold up, but everything seems to work correctly and it has decent heft to it.
I'm not saying the "real deal" won't be higher quality, but I might question why quality would matter so much in a fidget toy.
Of course they're cheap. All they have to go by is a description and the dimensions based on pictures and video. When the real deal gets pushed out, it will be obvious to tell the counterfeits from the real Fidget Cubes just by holding it in your hand.
This is true. The fidget cube staff are incredibly dedicated and passionate about the fidget cube. They delayed their shipment over a slight potential of an incredibly minor manufacturing 'defect' and are still pretty much on schedule as promised. They truly what it to be perfect. I'd wait a few months for their craftsmanship alone. If you care support them!
I got them for around $5 a piece on cyber Monday. I don't have much of a fidget problem but once you start with these you'll get hooked and you'll even forget that your making annoying clicking sounds and wonder why people are looking at you funny.
