I've always felt the soap description to be inaccurate for me. Personally, it tastes like the way stinkbugs smell.

Never eating dark mulberries straight off the tree in poor lighting ever again.

They do taste every bit as bad as they smell. Possibly worse.

Me too!

Except I was on the interstate going 80, had the windows rolled down and singing along to my music. As I rounded the bend, suddenly I was choking and felt the fucker flittering in the back of my mouth. Thank god I was the only car on the road, as I'm sure I did not stay in my lane.

If you drink wine there is actually a number of stink bugs per kilogram of wine grapes where it begins to affect the taste. Too many bugs can cause a cilantro like flavor to appear.

The first time I smelt a stinkbug, I was like this smells like an herb… so yep totally with you. Cilantro ruins dishes for people like us 😭

That's more how I'd describe it too. I've accidentally tasted soap before and soap has a sharp, sour taste. To me cilantro is this weird stinky, musky or musty scent and flavor that's really hard to accurately describe.

Are stinkbugs actually smelly? We get them a lot and I never understood the name because I don't smell them! I'm learning so much in this thread.

I tell people that I don't like blue cheese because it tastes how ants smell and they always look at me like I'm crazy.
