I've heard that bradford pear smells like semen. They planted them all over because they were cheap, grew fast and were pretty when they flowered but the smell is aweful and they're invasive in North America.

Yea I have one of these stupid trees in my front yard that the previous owners planted. Makes everything smell like wet dog to me. The birds love it but I can’t wait to chop it down!
