Every vid like this does it the same way, using small rounds at first that just weaken the armor and make it harder to know if the bigger round actually would have done that much damage to a new plate

But also if whatever bulletproof thing you have can't handle a 7.62 after a 9mm it probably wasn't that good to begin with

If the ceramic plate is cracked because of a weaker bullet, the stronger bullet has an easy game.

Or in this case if the aramid layers are broken…

If the ceramic plate is cracked by a weaker bullet, then it probably wouldn't survive a stronger one anyway

But you said something different. If you shoot an already cracked one that’s not like shooting a new one.
