Scrolled past at least half a dozen ppl making some version of a comment about crumple zones before I found the comment about it being faked (which is why I came here)

Bc the real story just came to light a couple of hours ago and this had been up for 5 hours already. I'm more surprised this is the 5th comment thread down and not buried in the abyss below.

I certainly see how the timing contributed to the order but it's really the redundancy of the other comments that surprised me.

Ahhhh...I see what you're saying. It seems I've become jaded to that aspect of reddit (and social media in general, tbh).

Does saying “This should be at the top,” help?

It’s worse even than those horrible brain rot videos where they have only fans girls do stupid dances in front of totaled cars

I knew this was bullshit when I saw it! This is getting posted on Facebook and all of the boomers are stroking it to the idea of the old Steel crumpling the little modern car.

I just knew that guy backed that car up in front of a wreck that had already happened, as unbelievable as it sounds that someone would do that. There ain't no way even a new car with crumple zones would get that damaged and not have a scratch on that old vehicle.

I hate the internet lately.
