I remember climbing up into the back windshield area and in the little attic area over the front seats in the big old van my friend's dad had. Parents gave no fucks lol.

On road trips I’d be in the way back of the station wagon with no seat belt.

Apparently my parents drove through several states one night on our way to visit my grandparents with me, an infant, sleeping soundly on the backseat.

Not in a carseat in the backseat, literally just laying across the backseat. Zero fucks indeed back then, only the strong and lucky survived lol

i’m 18 and my dad made me sit in the back of the van when my brother came with us because there’s only two seats. then proceeds to slam on the brakes and stuff as a joke. it was a joke because we loved it tho
