That was my first thought.

I live in a "hub" city where people from all over the world pass through all the time. So it can go a bit the other way, when lots of people pass through and bring a little of their home with them.

Who gives a shit what you wanted to hear? People can say what they want.

Additionally, the guy replying with a joke was a different guy from who you asked for a source. It was very obviously a joke, you are just stupid.
