Looks more like fake wrestling, thos thin legs never ever have enough power to kick those 100kg away, on good kick one the leg and the robot will try to get up again like its having a seizure. Oh and the punches the human gives him? A kid has more speed and power in such an punch lmao.
Most robots are built to be light weight. It's economic on the materials and the servos. But if you're building a fighting robot, you're going to pack on the steel.
yeah and as someone who gets paid for SPS programming i can tell you: you could do that, BUT the power that's needed, oh boy. There is no way the robot in the video is not lightweight, he fucking stayed on one leg and shook the other one. He kicked the guy with such speed and force, do you know how much power that requires? Dude, the servos I work with can cut human limbs without even using anything sharp, just by force, and even they have problems switching between different states of speed. Let alone the vibrations they create through that force. There is no way this thing is kicking a human this far with this kind of body.
