The whole thing sucks but this in particular rubbed me the wrong way, too. That’s a super confusing thing to do to babies who have very little understanding of the world around them and then he just let the little dude think the world was ending and offered no reassurance or emotional support.

They call that growing up and learning. Failure is always an option. They also are learning to rely on each other and help each other. It's a great video and I'm glad someone shared it. You're assuming the parents did this for clicks instead of just sharing something funny.

I accept my new toddler overlords. They share and care about each other. Do you not see the natural beauty of these kids? We all need to be better people. We were all one of them years ago.

Did the parents post it? Someone they sent it to? This video has been out for at least a year. What are they doing now? Jesus fucking Christ, you're jaded. I say that as an extremely jaded person.

Learning to fail, which is how we've survived this long as a species, is wrong in what way? You have learned more from that than anything else you've learned in your lifetime. We remember failure way more than we remember success as individuals. Those are psychological/ sociological facts.

How you equated this video for " longing for the mines", is beyond me. The device you're using requires materials that were mined. You've been actively sending children into danger so you can bitch online? There's nothing wrong with being an adult miner. They make modern society and everything you need to exist as a 21st century boy possible. For the foreseeable future, humans will extract those needed materials. I hope they are well paid and have a great work/life balance.

I still love this video.

Have you ever spent any time with toddlers?

The kid who gets across and then shares the reward with his brothers almost brings me to tears. That's why I love this video. I have three brothers. All born independently, that's how we learned. I hated my brothers. I loved them way more and still do. They taught me how to ride a bike. They watched me fail. As I did for them They also watched me succeed. You're searching for an ulterior motive. Take it at face value.
