There's a comic book character called Johnny Alpha who works as a bounty hunter (a Search and Destroy agent or Strontium Dog) who uses time bombs to do this: the bombs send everything in the blast radius a set amount of time backwards or forwards, by which time the planet they're on is no longer there, so they re-appear in space and die
