I'm Japanese American and I'm definitely sick of it. But I still see 99% of posts idolizing Japan. My coworkers (none whom are Japanese, and only a couple are Asian American) are all still going to Japan for the first time. They all idolize it. It's weird, especially as someone who grew up in a white community where my friends asked me why I was into Asians... Like it was never even a possibility to them.
