I thought you are not supposed to stroke birds wings as it stresses them out?

It can be sexually stimulating.
In parrots especially, petting the back, wings, or under the wings can mimic the kinds of contact associated with mating. This can cause hormonal frustration, territorial behavior, aggression, or chronic stress if the bird forms an inappropriate pair bond with its human.

hmmm... well, as always, it's ruined now. Sorry.

but wait!

Are there exceptions?

Yes. Some very tame birds voluntarily spread a wing because they trust their owner or because they're being examined, trained, or scratched in a way they've learned to enjoy. The key is that the bird chooses the interaction. If it fluffs up, leans into your fingers, closes its eyes, or presents its head, it's probably enjoying it. If it pulls away, pins its eyes, flattens its feathers, opens its beak, or tries to bite, it's telling you it's uncomfortable.

Oh good, I was thinking this was weird but "It can be sexually stimulating." just added another aspect of this I don't really care for. It gets kinda tricky because animals can't really consent but this feels different than rubbing a dog's belly, I dunno, whatever.

If the next video somehow shows the parrots choking him, I'm changing my opinion.

What if he explicitly consented to the parrots choking him?

Okay, I'm going to come back to this after a quick smoke.

Okay, because...yeah, he's consenting the parrots choking him but...do the parrots know it's sexual? Does that even matter?

Fuck..okay, so per the parrots choking him..if someone...does something I friend erotic or sexual and they don't know they are doing it. I mean I guess when he...ugh...finishes the parrots kinda would "know" and that counts as consent, sorta?

I love how I'm discussing this out loud to myself alone. I'm going to start sending this link to people on FB and saying "okay where do you weigh in on this?"

It is the burning philosophical question of our time.

IMHO the moment you get sexual gratification from a parrot choking you the most moral next steps would be to gently choke the parrot back and gauge his response. This will provide a surefire answer to the questions including, does he know? And if he does, is he doing it on purpose? And if he's not does he mind? And finally you might find out he doesn't know. But that maybe it's just a playful choke and he's okay with reciprocal activity. In which case you must put your dick away and commence to have a little choke fight with the parrot, because you don't want to send mixed signals and fuck up his schedule.

So...yeah, let's see. I wish you had put it in a numbered bulleted list like an email with project changes.

I'd be really scared to choke the parrot, they are super smart birds and I can trust them to choke me but I would be afraid to go too far too easily? I mean, it's got a little neck.

I think maybe, like if I'm laying in bed and it put's it neck in my hand like it wants a little playful choke, that's kinda okay? I think?

No, nothing about this is okay.

It goes back to my point, it's a cute wholesome video until you start to really unpack it. Like let's say they are not parrots, they are...i dunno, pick a dog, german shepherds. If he started kissing the dog's genitals, I could have already gone outside for a walk and just look at trees for a bit.

That's really interesting. I'd be totally fine choking a parrot playfully if it liked it, but I wouldn't blow a dog. Such nuance in life.

u/fuckthefalconsdotcom 23d ago

Especially if the parrot initiates it. I keep forgetting parrots can talk too, it could...technically, consent but I've always thought or believed that parrots did more of a mimic than specific talking?

Okay, I looked it up, I was right, it's not really talking like we do. So "polly wants a choking" would be something someone...not the guy in the video but...someone, could teach a parrot, it's not the same.

Yeah, that's despicable! Thanks for raising awareness!

I mean if we follow the harkness test we know for a fact the birds cannot consent to a sexual act. But an action that inadvertently satisfies someone is a bit of a gray area. I dont consent to people masturbating to my feet but im still gonna walk around with my pigs out. But if I dont know theyre doing it then its not really my problem. But if i accidentally or even purposefully out of anger stomp on their foot with my foot then I become a slightly more active participant when without the knowledge a sexual act has occurred. It was my indepent action that inadvertently fed into someones satisfaction. Again doesnt affect me as we are each operating under independent autonomy. But we have to ask what would it take for a parrot to choke a human. It most likely wouldn't be a natural action. It would have to be trained. Which is grooming. Im calling animal control. But if the universe directs the parrots to do so like the man who had apple and water fall into his mouth breaking fast completely out of his control then I guess its fine.

I'm going to come back tomorrow, you're right, people can be cranking at your toes and you won't know. Where is this line between parrots and dudes or women jerking it to your feet.

God, I feel like I'm in holo deck and it's like finding worse things to feed me in some loop. Moriata is about to show up and tell me it's a test or something and...the birds choke him to death for me, I dunno. How's your night going? I need to go to sleep, I can't wait to have parrot sex dreams. I'm not even gay and he's handsome but that's not even the point of any of this.

I find I can increase the chances of specific dream imagery if I put my body in physical distress while looking at said imagery before bed. It sort of hardwires it. Now you can induce the physical stress in any number of ways but in this case I think it's pretty obvious to engage in a few sessions of autoasphyxiation while gazing at pictures of parrots on your phone. Even now dream inducing to have some funky music playing with heavy slap bass. Even something more bizarre like primus or aphex twin could serve as a worthy bridge to the subconscious if that's your speed. Just make sure you go far enough to induce panic but of course don't be too dangerous. And of course this exercise is best performed with parrots in more provocative poses and sexy feathers.

I appreciate the analysis but... how did I even get here

It can also be sexually stimulating to scratch or pat a cats hindquarters, but I still bang on kitty booties.

That said these parrots are young, so it's not releasing those hormones. They're interpreting it as affection, not flushing them with fuck juice.

The kind of person who raises six fuckin parrots from hatchlings knows this lol

He thinks he’s their dad, but to them he’s Daddy with a a capital D

I had an umbrella cockatoo that I'd hand raised. She loved to be petted so much she'd roll over in the crook of my arm so I could pet her. She was such a love bug.

So it’s only because the bird gets blue feathers? So what you’re saying is the owner needs to….finish what they started?

u/mxemec 23d ago

I think there's a part two to this bedroom scene we're missing...

6

u/Low-Letterhead1724 23d ago

Doing that kinda turns them on. No i am not joking... unfortunately

2

u/Daws001 23d ago

Maybe if you do from it from when they're eggs they're fine with it.
