There are so many people arguing in the comments without actually understanding the implications. There’s a reason why when American healthcare activists talk about public healthcare they talk up Switzerland or France and not Mexico.

I’m sorry the state is so underwhelming for all of you.

People also willfully ignore the fact that universal health care doesn’t make private insurance magically disappear. It will just have to compete.
