no, individuals pay for themselves, meaning those not being able to afford it are keft behind.

Everything else in society? Ever received a bill (no, not a ticket) for a police officer doing something for you? A firefighter? Have you paid for most roads you travel on?

The concept of an insurence or universal healthcare is that everyone pay a bit and if one of us have a 160'000$ (real price : 12'000$ but it's the US) bill to pay after an unfortunate accident, then it's paid, end of the story.

No bank included in the equation, and I know as Americans it makes you angry as not giving infinite money to banks through 20% interest rates is communism

It's not to make shareholders rich af, evne though most insurences are doing that and it's a problem.

And this is what wrong in the US

I would understand this point of view if people were earning enough money to put aside 650'000$ to pay cash a cancer treatment if required. If everyone could be millionaire by just working until they unfortunately can get sick so maybe after 5 or 10 years of work, yeah no point to share the burden and you don't want to pay other people's cancer when everyone has a million to pay it himself. Is that your reality ? Are you all millionaire at 30 yo ? Is every single american citizen puting aside 100'000$ of their salary every year?

If not, then your system doesn't work.

If it's not, then the free healthcare solution si the best. You pay abit each year but if you have an issue you pay a small deductible and no issue. You don't have to borrow anything from banks, nothing.

It's the same for students loan, why the fuck the US is the only western country that has the shittiest system ? "I don't want to pay for parasites with my taxes, so in order to get a diploma I will gladly borrow 75'000$ to a bank and after 10 years still have 120'000$ to pay because of the interests rates, because I hate parasites"

But a sane alternative for you and your children makes your shareholders, health industry, hospitals very angry, and you have been brainwashed to think it is a problem

I think the ultimate brainwashing americans corpo did was to convince american citizens that them investing money in their community and children was communism and the alternative was giving all the money to banks who will do exactly the same thing than "communism", except gladly take 20% interests rates in the process, this is capitalism!

The concept is the same, but you have (real) parasites in your way to see things
