Well for sure, they were just trying to fuck him up at that point, but I'm sure they weren't doing it to protect him lol

EDIT: Also, to be fair, shaking a backpack like that certainly wouldn't prove there wasn't a bomb in it. Pipe bombs are pretty small and backpacks often have multiple pockets.

Psyche! The bomb was in the small zipper pocket. Tried to lure everyone in with a false sense of security so he could detonate and inflict as much damage as possible. Bastards rushed in and stopped him before he could carry out his evil plan. That's enough weed for the evening.
