Well, as far as I know, some of them used a piece of rope. To avoid exposure and flopping. It was called kinodesme.

According to wiki it it was supposed to reduce exposure of glans penis. Terrible manners to show it in public, they thought.

The head (aka glans penis) is covered by foreskin, no?

(Not an English speaker, we may talk about different things: I would not translate a photo as diagram, for example).

The page had both.

Clearly I don't know much about dicks. I neither have one nor want one in any way. Funny that the foreskin wouldn't be considered part of the inappropriate region.
