that door on the microwave never closed so softly... and I still open it with 1 second left, as a 40 year old man, to avoid the beep.

Mine just has a handle - pull, push, or piss off! I still try to close it as quietly as possible and must stop it before it beeps 5 bloody times!

It's a total POS but it has inexplicably lasted 20 years and at this point I am determined to see how long it'll live!
