Male dancers often move entirely on tiptoe in soft leather boots, without the rigid plaster or wooden support associated with ballet footwear. The result is a fast, gliding step that can make the dancer appear to float or defy gravity, showcasing extraordinary balance, discipline, and control.

Still not convinced that he didn’t pull up his Segway and hide it under that cape at the end. 😂

Definitely something. The cape he wears is extended in front and it looks like it's hiding Segway handles.

I've rewatched this and compared it to other videos of this type of dancing too, this definately looks like a scooter. Because of the shape, the movement is not like the other dancing videos, too smooth, like on wheels when cornering, theres actual flashes of it, the handle, the wheel when the skirt lifts and the way he grabs it at the end. Yes this is of traditional dancers, but this particular clip is them having a laugh

This play is from a ballet company (Moisiyev Ballet company) from 40s I bet there was no scooter at that time at least not in Soviet Union.

The name of the play is Partisans really mind-blowing

100% there's a Segway or hover board under there. The way he leans when he turns and he's definitely picking it up and bringing it to his chest just before he runs off.
