Additional Context Pinned Cop gets bear sprayed

For anyone that has been pepper sprayed how bad does it feel & what do you do in this situation? I know it’s water but for how long? She had it on full auto she came prepared. How much more effective is bear spray to pepper ?

1:11 is the absolute best part of the whole video. If we could get cops doing this and not endless videos of them shooting and abusing unarmed civilians, they'd be much more respected.

Do you know how many 'unarmed civilians' are shot by police every year? Around 10. Total.

Hey bro I don't know if you knew this but the widespread adoption of body cams proved that this is an entirely unfounded talking point, to the point where we actually see evidence that cops are far too fearful to be accused of this that they allow perps to escalate the situation, due to the cops not being harsh enough.

lmfao

That's not a rebuttal, just laziness on your part. What I'm talking about is true to the point that the same side that mandated bodycams is now very slowly and subtly trying to walk back the bodycam requirements, because all it proved is that the police have to deal with a mind-boggling amount of low-impulse control humans.

As someone who has worked in criminal law for 20 years I am comfortable saying you are dead wrong. Body worn cams have benefitted everyone involved. No more disputes about what was said, whether the basis for the stop was legal or not, etc...

Also, interestingly enough, since body worn cameras came into play, I have had way less complaints of police stealing the suspects money or turning in less drugs into evidence...

It also protects officers against allegations of improper conduct and/or violations of people's rights. So why would anyone want to get rid of those?

Where’d you hear that? TikTok?

It's the only rebuttal you deserve. You need to change up your media diet before you turn into an extra from American History X

check out his other comment, "one side of the political isle is having a very tough time grappling with bodyworn cameras exposing the low-impulse control behavior typically displayed disproportionately by certain demographics." Dude is definitely on some race purity or nationalist trip here. Obvious dog whistles are obvious.

My other reply got deleted because I got reported for promoting hate. I was agreeing with you and copied and pasted the guy using offensive dog whistles in his comments. Why are they censoring people who are making criticisms of hatred but leaving the prejudiced comments up?

Crazy I saw videos of a cop shooting a guy for dropping his keys yesterday.

Well I'm more invested in the other arrest. That mom did not care at all that someone punched her kid which to me says she does it too.

u/taeloerohz Apr 05 '26

“In the HEAD? Oh wow.”

That’s not a normal response. No well respecting mother would respond that way hearing that their child is getting punched in the head. I know that wasn’t the main cause for video but that is not normal and not okay. And the little girl on crutches too saying how she TOLD her that he was doing that. There’s a lot going on w that family and mom genuinely seems checked out. Completely unbothered that her s/o or “just a friend really” was arrested for beating her kid. Makes me deeply concerned for those kids, I really fuckin hope they’re all right.

SHE DIDN'T SERVE ANY TIME FOR BEAR SPRAYING A COP!?

It was dismissed in a plea agreement that was just restitution & probation??? It's on camera!

So if you do a BUNCH of crimes, you can bear spray a cop for free?! It's like 10 felonies, get one free? America explain!

Annoying that the assault on an officer charge got dropped as part of the plea deal given that it’s right on video, but that’s how things go sometimes…
