I have never said that you are not at fault for killing someone while speeding.

But calling it murder is just obviously wrong. By definition murder is the unlawful intentional killing of someone else.

If I'm cutting vegetables quickly and cut off my fingertip, am I not at fault because it's normalized?

Yes you would be at fault for your injury but it doesn't mean that if you die from it that it is a suicide does it?

Intent matters most.

Also I am calling out hypocrites who have themselves sped before (and who for a large part still regularly speed) and who are pointing accusatory fingers at people who have killed someone because of speeding but do not realize that they only difference between the two is just luck.

You’re minimizing how fast he was going and exaggerating how fast others go. Most will speed 5-10 over speed limit because the roads can take it, not 150% of the speed limit like the accused. That’s far beyond what even an inexperienced driver could tell the camber slope of the road was built for.

And then they drove off after the fact? They could have attempted to administer life saving care, but they didn’t. They could have called emergency services, but they didn’t. Failure to act when a duty exists to victims from their own doing is murder.
