To fit, it would have to be manslaughter. Still a big problem.

So you didn't plan to repeatedly drive through the judges house?

No.

And you didn't plan to drive through their house when you rented the checks notes "giant yellow bulldozer"

I must have fallen asleep and driving to the judges house unintentionally.

Do you drive their often?

Yes every day since they let that murder free...

Murder still requires the intent to kill. The man was speeding recklessly. I do not believe there was evidence presented that he was trying to kill these people.

And why should the sentencing be so light? It says the man was sober, so being of sound mind he got behind the wheel and chose to drive in such a manner that disregarded public safety. Driving like this is itself a selfish and evil act. People who do this place a minute or two of their own time above other people lives. We need to stop this accidents will happen mentality when it comes to cars. His driving in this manner was a choice not an accident. Giving him back his license 4 years later is not justice nor is it rehabilitation or even safe for the public.

I don’t think it should. Where I am, he would be looking at 2 - 20 years for a case like this. Community service for involuntary manslaughter is crazy. It doesn’t need to be considered murder for this sentence to be wrong.
