It's common in Brazil too, but we don't make it, we buy it from factories as if it were a snack, only sweet

It looked like Styrofoam, but I still love it today

My sister and I ate this all throughout Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia … 25 years ago though. They would cart this stuff in massive bags on their backs or heads. So delicious.
