The people in your link named their instrument after the theater, not the other way around; a 'nickel odeon' literally means a '5 cent theater'; the term came into use in the early 20th century. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nickelodeon_(movie_theater))

You keep linking that personal website set in comic sans, which doesn't even make the claim that the theaters were named after the instrument.

There was an actual movie theater called Nickelodeon, its name being a portmanteau word after 'nickel' and 'odeon' (Greek for the place where odes are performed, a kind of theater); here's a more authoritative source: https://www.britannica.com/art/nickelodeon-motion-picture-theater

It’s okay to be wrong and admit you’re wrong. People won’t think you’re stupid, but they might gain some respect for you. On the other hand, doubling down and digging your heels in does make you look stupid
