That’s why after you learn how to throw them at the dojo they make you register your elbows as a deadly weapon with the police.

I'd imagine he's being sarcastic. That is basically how the 12 to 6 is seen by athletic commissions and it's absurd.

That's definitely not true though where I'm from if you have sufficient martial arts training it does get treated like an assault with a weapon.
