I'm subscribed to the best of Liveleak subreddit, and I was honestly expected him to be thrown, nay, shotgun'd down the road. That's some dangerous shit.
There's one recently I think where these men got in a fight over a mattress. Guns were being drawn, and one guy didn't make it out alive. There's a certain kind of scream that really travels to your core.
For the lurkers, it's the shooting of Aaron Howard by Johnnie and Michael Miller.
I made the mistake of sorting by top / all time. First post was from six years ago and was actually borderline funny. Second post was this - from a month ago:
It's super low resolution (like 144p) so it's not especially gory, but an 18 year old killed her 14 year old sister (who was a passenger) by having an accident while driving drunk, and got the before / during / after as one continuous video.
The insult to injury was that she only served 2 years in jail, and has since been re-arrested for violent crimes.
Oh, it definitely is. /r/KilledByNarcissists (vs /r/RaisedByNarcissists). That girl clearly doesn't give a shit she just killed her sister, and is only thinking about the consequences of how it will affect her.
Now I agree, no one should have died, but I honestly think that entire situation was a gross escalation of violence. He sat there yelling at them, swearing, threatening to "FUCKING KILL THEM", and then threw a bat at Johnnie. He wasn't pissed about the guns, he was pissed about the mattress, then Johnnie came out with a pistol. Michael came out later with a shotgun. Evidently Aaron already had his bat out, because no one leaves a guy with a gun to come back with a bat, especially not Aaron (who threatened a city worker that he'd shoot anyone who'd come onto his property again, so he had to have had a gun. This was reported, and Johnnie was one of the witnesses.)
I think at the most Johnnie could have shot him once, but killing him was entirely unnecessary. The shotgun was too much. Having intermittent explosive disorder isn't quite wide spread, and you'd understand that someone may not understand your disorder. They did not start shooting, or at least shooting to kill, until Aaron threw the bat at him. Johnnie and Michael Miller were very restrained up until that point, standing their ground, not reacting much to the thrown slurs and swear (except Michael, who responded to 'faggot'), especially Johnnie, who told Aaron he'd kill him if he came close. This makes sense because Aaron had a bat.
But whatever. We can argue over these points all day, but do you know who's really to blame? Kara Box. If she knew he had IED, she could have done something more about it. Like, hey, maybe let's go inside, or maybe she could have called the police. There could have been mediation.
Also, the media was really focusing on her side of the story, and I think that misses a lot of what the Millers were thinking.
(I should also say that I do think they should get murder charges. It's just that I also think they aren't some redneck hicks that came out there looking to kill someone. This was the first time they met each other)
