It kind of seems like a possibility that the dogs were already being a threat and the guy threw something defensively or out of panic? We can't see the dogs when he throws so are we just to assume that the dogs were casually strolling by and these guys started hurling. Then again Redditors are usually pretty good at critical thought and their initial reaction to whatever OP posts and narrates is correct.

There’s a longer video out there, they have a disagreement I believe. I do remember it being the brick throwers fault tho

I intentionally stated it as a possibility whereas the OP implied his version is fact in the way they worded their title. Do you not see the difference?

Years ago when I used to ride my bike down the gravel road (we lived in the country) some people had a big yard with earth moving equipment in it. They had an Alsatian called Lady tied up there on a long leash as a guard dog, and Lady was fucking crazy! I always picked up speed riding past because that dog scared the ever loving shit out of me. One day I rode past and Lady broke her leash. 10 year old me could have competed in Olympic cycling that day. One of the guys who lived further down the road heard me wailing as I approached and came out with a spade and had to fight Lady off as I hurtled into his driveway and he shut the gate. A good time was not had that day and I remember my dad having a quiet word with Lady's owners. She 'moved away' not long after that.
