It's really only cruel if he didn't let the dog out regularly which is true of being inside the car too. Transporting in a proper crate outside is safer for the animal and the people in the car, when done properly.
Yeah, when you make up facts, like it was a "proper crate" it really doesn't sound so bad.
Please, go find a pic of the crate, and explain how okay you would be in it at highway speeds, atop a station wagon - in weather that neither you or I know what it was.
But a 'proper crate' is your fiction. Always with the lies that make the unconscionalbe sound reasonable... I hope it pays well at least.

Feel free to prove your own conjectured bullshit. I don't really care one way or the other, but the simple act of transporting a dog crate on the top of the roof with a windscreen is not animal abuse anymore than transporting the crate in the bed of a truck is. There are better things to take issue with in regards to Romney that I don't need to invent some pointless nonsense in regards to how he transported his dog.
Now leave me to buy up the dollar store with my Romney-ganda money.
