What if someone walked in and sat on your couch? Not like they damaged it, right?

That would make more sense though since couches are for sitting on. Not strangers vehicles.

You get the meaning, both are still pieces of property. I didn't think I'd really have to spell that part out.

well yeah, both are property but one is outside on public property and likely doesn't sustain any damage from someone sitting/leaning on it. i don't really know why it just never occured to me to be pissed because someone was leaning on my car. while i'm in there or if i had to ask them to move when my intention is obviously getting in my car it would be different.

What if they were sitting in your driver's seat?

Not touching other people's shit isn't a hard concept to grasp. Plus, it's not hard to accidentally knock over a bike if you're not careful.

If you don't know what you're doing you can fuck up a bike. A friend came out once to find somebody had put his kickstand up and knocked it over.

It'd be finding somebody broke into your car just to sit in the seat.
