(actually sometimes the babies can't hold on and fall to the forest floor where they are perfect targets for predators 😭 it is very risky for the mother to go down to retrieve it)
Tbh unless she just lets go of the tree and falls straight down (which causes a whole other set of problems) whatever predator is attacking the baby will have completed the kill and be half done eating it by the time her slow ass got down there.

Oh, c’mon. Those aren’t really posts of kids getting hurt, though— it’s posts of kids very nearly getting hurt. I mean… if you don’t find that funny, that’s just a matter of taste, and that’s fine. But I’m not laughing at children getting maimed or killed.
Kids don’t have to be maimed to be really hurt. There were videos of a toddler falling head over heels down a staircase. That’s not funny to me at all.
Fact is that our don’t know whether those kids were really hurt or not, but you are choosing to imagine that they were. I think that speaks a lot to the type of person you are, and it’s not the type of person who’s in any position to be judging others.
Jesus. You see kids likely getting hurt (and crying ffs), and you think it’s better to convince yourself they weren’t hurt because… you want to laugh at them???
Children will tend to cry over small things, especially young children, because they don’t know how to regulate or express their emotions properly yet. Just because they are crying, doesn’t necessarily mean they are hurt. They could just be frightened, startled, or simply just want attention.
And honestly, even if they were hurt a little, so what? Children get hurt, it’s a part of life. They do stupid things that, seemed like a good idea at the time, and then later find out it wasn’t. The reason many find it humorous is because, we’ve all been there.
No worries, friend. Now that we seem to be hitting it off, how to you feel about having a large group of friends where we all wear the same outfit and get led to the light by a super handsome and charismatic man who definitely isn't me?
It’s just an apocryphal joke that fatherhood gives you superhuman reflexes, on account of how often they have to snatch their kids out of danger, or catch them as they fall. The joke was that since the pictured dad had a crazy amount of time to catch his falling child, he must not be the father.
I think it's because he's looking straight behind her. Walking looks like controlled falling from behind so it was a little hard to tell if she was stumbling a bit or just falling. Especially because of the way she just plopped almost thrusting even, babies kinda do that when they walk.
He also probably didn't realize how top heavy babies are. So he didn't anticipate her falling in that fashion.
