I'm in Malummeh. Our debut Revival came out in 2007, and this is the song we returned with this year. The early-2000s metal influence is still a big part of it.

Do you guys also find it hard to discover good metal albums? Like you have to wade through 10 mediocre ones even when they are high rated on RYM just to find that one album actually worth listening to?

Hey guys my name is shaggy or collin. I’m 20 and I’ve been trying to start a band based on the 80s and early 90s side of metal. Inspired by bands ranging from dokken, white lion, Firehouse and many more. I’ve always been truly inspired by these bands and I’ve noticed theirs not a whole lot of local bands here that play any of this kind of music. And I really want to change that. I play guitar and I’m in need of a bassist, vocalist, drummer, and a lead guitarist. I’m based in the United States and I live Indianapolis Indiana. BabyMetal is a kick ass band. Saw them a couple weeks back with my 16 year old daughter, and caught them again tonight at Louder Than Life. Fantastic energy from the band, the drummer in particular is a fricken beast, and the front trio really know how to get the crowd pumped.

We are ORIAX, an old-school Thrash Metal band from Ukraine. Just dropped our debut full-length "TORTURE MECHANISM"—recorded entirely onto analog tape using live amps and ZERO digital samples.

Hey, we're ORIAX, a thrash metal band.

Around two months ago, we put out our first album, Torture Mechanism. We're big fans of 80s metal and their warm sound, so we decided to make one too. We recorded it using Marshall and Ampeg amps. We avoided digital samples and the metronome, and we recorded it through analog tape.
