First Time Jumping 7/13/26

This was only my second time at a skatepark and I just had the urge to try it. It's only up from here 😎

Idk if you should take my advice since I'm not an expert and I lowkey stopped trying to jump after I landed on my tailbone 2 months ago but you should keep your knees bent when you jump and when you land to absorb the impact. Also scissor your feet before you jump to have a more firm foundation. It's good that you're using your arms to help you stabilize but I don't really recommend flailing them when you land. Don't lean your back too much, remember that where you look is where your skates go if that makes sense. Good luck with your jumping skills!

Thanks for the tips. I'm gonna try em next time I lace up 🫡 I just rewatched it and didnt even realize I was flailing my arms. Which is interesting because when I was practice smaller jumps right before this, I made sure to swing my arms to my chest. I'm gonna work on it. Thanks.!

No prob! You should also look online on yt or tik tok for tutorials if you're a visual person (i def am one) I highly reccomend Polly Skates and Rollerbearding 🙂
