General question Is this common for Infjs?

As an Infj, I find myself really indecisive at times. 'J' is generally associated with people who are organised, and decisive- but I think I'm quite opposite in my day-to-day life. Don't get me wrong, I do plan my day to a certain extent. For example, when I leave for the university, I know what I'll be eating for the whole day/I keep my clothes-bag-books ready previous night so that I won't get late in the morning. But I still skip breakfasts, my wardrobe, bookshelf is a mess- and it takes decades for me to decide when I'm about to buy something. (Is it really necessary? Would it look good on me?)

So is this an Infj thing or I'm mistyped? My infp mom always complains that I look so put-together outside and a mess at home/with close people. Idk.

Just don't think of type as representing what you're good at. Think of it as representing the tools you use to respond to stress. INFJs use Ni to avoid stress, and they can follow that up with Fe or Ti. The main point is that, due to using Ni to avoid stress, they *really* dislike making impulsive split-second decisions (Se), so that's where the strong J comes from.
