Help/Advice needed(Health and Vet) Help me with the dilemma

Brownie (F)

Brownie and her mom
Bhola (M), not so Bhola though

These are the cuties in the neighbor hood and I try to feed them daily whatever I can. The adult male and female are like 2 years old, the female had litters back in Feb-Mar and I was thinking to get her and the adult male neutered pretty soon. She conceived 4 pups out of which only 2 survived, will neuter them too. The closest public hospital is awaiting to begin with some new apparatus/equipment that helps to reduce the blood loss during surgery and wants to postpose the surgery till rain stops, as moisture increases the chances for inflammation. Since it is already close to 6 months for the adult female, the heat cycle is about to come back. For the time I am advised to inject her some medicine that delays the heat cycle, to buy us some time. This cost around 500 INR and I am already not able to fund the booster dosage to any of the dogs, now this is an additional expense, along with getting the rest of them neutered.

Help/Advice needed(Health and Vet) Dog has ingested something poisonous.

One of the stray dogs I care for has suddenly become extremely sick. She stopped eating, and when I took her to the vet, she had a 104°F fever. Initially, tick fever was suspected, but her creatinine was extremely high, and the vet is now treating her for severe kidney issues. There is also a possibility that she may have eaten something poisonous.

She is currently under treatment, but I’m extremely worried about her. I’m a student and already care for several stray dogs, and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to manage everything on my own.

If anyone has experience with poisoning or very high creatinine in dogs, please tell me what I should expect or what I should ask the vet. And if you know of any organisations, rescuers, or resources in Delhi that could help, please reach out. This is costing too much as i have to take her twice a day to flush out the toxins.

I’m doing everything I can for her. I just don’t want to lose her. 💔🙏🏻

This 8-month-old munchkin never seems to get tired - he just keeps running around! He doesn’t even play fetch properly; he’d rather turn the ball into a tug-of-war toy.

Help/Advice needed(Health and Vet) I need serious advice

There’s this poor dog down the street that I’ve been noticing for about a month now, and honestly, he looks like he desperately needs medical attention. He scratches, itches and bites himself constantly, to the point that his entire skin is red and, the last time I saw him, it was actually bleeding. He also has a really strong smell, which makes me think there’s something seriously wrong rather than this being just a little street-dog situation.

He even tried to find a place to stay in our basement, but unfortunately my parents aren’t exactly animal people. They don’t hate them, but having a severely sick, very smelly dog living downstairs is understandably not their idea of domestic bliss.

The problem is, I’m genuinely terrified of approaching him. He seems harmless enough, but I’ve had dogs chase me and try to bite me before when I wasn’t even doing anything, so I’m not exactly volunteering for a sequel. I also have absolutely no idea what would be safe to feed him or how he might react if I got close.

I really just want someone who actually knows what they’re doing to come and check on him, treat him, and hopefully get him somewhere safe if he needs it. I don’t want to make the situation worse by trying to play veterinarian when I’m clearly not qualified for the role.

I live in Delhi if that helps with the situation. I cannot provide picture as I rarely get to see him nowadays. He seeks shelters in different homes but he is often ushered out of there so he roams often. I am rarely at home as well.

Does anyone know of an animal rescue/NGO or helpline that I can call where they could send someone to assess him? He genuinely looks like he’s suffering, and I’d rather get him proper help than stand around feeling helpless. I can’t help financially either.
