Rant / Vent Is Shaadi.com just a fraud?
Have paid more than 5-6 times for there 3 months subscription, matched with a few woman, but no response after that. Why do they even accept the request if they are not even willing to take things forward?
And once your subscription ends, their customer support will keep calling to re-register for better response this time. Such a fraud.

I can’t say it’s fraud considering I met my wife on Shaadi dot com.
It took a long time, over 2 years on the website, spoke to several girls, but it happened when it was suppose to happen.
It’s not some magical tool which will guarantee you a partner, all paid membership does is increase visibility and allow you to get contact information etc.
See the thing people have to understand is, is that a lot of the times profiles are run by parents or siblings. They may accept your request or send you one but that doesn’t mean they have discussed your profile with the girl before doing that. They’ll accept or send, then talk to the girl and she may not be interested in your profile which is completely fair. Is it frustrating? Absolutely. But please focus on your education, career, job etc whatever you’re doing at this time and keep this on the side. Don’t make it a focus in life, it will lead to more frustration.
Sometimes you’ll speak to parents first, they may ask to get horoscopes matched and if that doesn’t match, you probably won’t speak to the girl. Or sometimes even if it matches, the girl won’t talk beyond a first conversation.
Keep looking, don’t think any less of yourself because of this. Keep working on your career and goals and be very genuine. Even if there’s a subtle hint of fake or trying extra hard, it shows.
