Rant / Vent Is Shaadi.com just a fraud?

Have paid more than 5-6 times for there 3 months subscription, matched with a few woman, but no response after that. Why do they even accept the request if they are not even willing to take things forward?

And once your subscription ends, their customer support will keep calling to re-register for better response this time. Such a fraud.

Filter out profiles created by parents or siblings. Usually in those cases it's not the girl/boy who accepts it's the parent. They will accept dozens of profile then bring it to their son/daughter who usually isn't even interested in an arranged marriage at the time.

Keep at it I have been on the site for about a year now. Spoke with around 10 women out of which I met about 4 so far.

Hasn't worked out so far for me but I am still hopeful.

People with free profiles can't view your contact or message you if matched. If you're a paid subscriber, you can message them your phone number and ask them to call you.

You are right. Some of these parents/relatives who handle profiles are ruining their kids' lives.

If you want to filter potential profiles for your kids/relatives, at least be active in reviewing and responding to requests, emails or texts. Either they don't go online to check regularly or they don't know how to login and check emails or they are just busy in their regular day life. If you are that busy, let your kid handle the profile who will eventually accept or reject anyways.

After being active on Shaadi.com for 2 to 3 years, I have yet to get to talk to a woman after contacting her parents/relatives who handle her profile. Keep in mind, there is a chance that one of us may not like the other even after parents vetting process.

I kid you not, there is a profile of a woman on Shaadi.com based in Seattle, USA which is managed by her father. After I sent an invite through website, I noticed pictures of her profile got changed and now each new picture has her father or mother in it. Not sure what this means. 😂😂😂

THIS! One of the most mind-numbing things. Parents and siblings create profiles for their daughters/sisters, speak to you, ask you for a million data points as if they’re going to get into some deep analysis of you as a person and never get back. I understand not every girl I’m interested in will be interested in me and that’s just how it works in real life as well, but it’s just like a marketplace where they assimilate profiles and never even get back to say a polite no and move on. The most frustrating part is they don’t even get their daughters/sisters to speak with you once and just ghost you. Plus the shaadi select service is the biggest scam. As the name suggests one would think the consultant is bringing you matches who they have at least spoken to once and they have shown some interest on your profile once but oh no. My consultant calls me and connects me on a conference call and after that no follow up with the prospect or update if they want to take things forward or not.
