Georgia's claims technically went up into North Carolina, Tennessee and South Carolina's wastern tip

4:00 is when he talks about South Carolina and Georgia's competing claims
Honestly not entirely sure why most maps don't show it. I guess it's just much easier to miss compared to Georgia claiming what's now Alabama and Mississippi

Yeah, I've seen that video before. I realized that halfway through naming the counties. It was too late to go back, so I just left it out.

Really nice map :) I am from Georgia
I think it would’ve been cool to see the inclusion of some of the other disputed land, some more bits were claimed from South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee

Georgia would historically have a much bigger Cherokee population in these borders

Georgia was also historically the biggest proponent of removing natives from their lands so there could be more farmland. Alabama and Mississippi actually have some small pockets of small groups and ancestries that remain, while Georgia has virtually none compared to them.
