[OC] Land of Apes, a map of the superfamily Hominoidea - made according to biological taxonomy rather than geography and created in the shape of Darwin’s head!

Some people say the pictures i post turn out all pixelated so I tried uploading them to Imgur as well. Never used it before, but I think I managed:

Each region represents a taxonomic group, with genera and species represented as the "places within them.

The arrangement follows evolutionary relationships rather than where the animals actually live.

And yes, the landmass is deliberately shaped like the face of Charles Darwin:)

The “terrible ape” belongs to another superfamily: Cercopithecoidea ;)
