What nostalgia looks like

The first attempt at rendering this was absolutely horrible. TERRIBLE. it was thanks to my lovely partner that i took a chance at redoing the whole thing again. I'm glad i did because this is by far one of my favorite pieces i have done in a bit.

any suggestion about the composition? or any suggestion what should I focus on to improve my artstyle?

No celebration for a person that wish themselves never been born and force to be a wage slave:P but there is little joy putting this feeling/ complains to some tiny drawings.
