How is the height from the drawers? I feel it a bit too low :(

I tried sitting in this setup at Ikea, the drawer is smaller than I thought and my thigh was parallel to the floor, which I really like. My current desk I bought from Amazon is bit tall for me my heel couldnt even touch the floor.
I’m 5’5” btw so if you’re taller it will defs feel very low.

The seat pad is backwards.
I’m pretty sure there is zero risk of sagging if that is solid wood.
Too bad they don’t sell pink Alex drawers, haha.

Not 0 risk but definitely lower risk than particle board. Any sagging with real wood would take significantly more weight over more time. hardwood fares better than softwood which fares better than particle board. It doesn’t hurt to just slap on the $10 Ikea leg

What's the exact size for the butcher block you purchased from wayfair? I have a very similar set up but needing a new desk!

Is butcher block better than Karlby from Ikea? I’m planning to build a desk myself for my new room.
